Joe Knape is an accomplished security leader with extensive experience across security advisory, risk management, and security architecture design. As RKON’s Director of Security Advisory, Joe leads a team that drives initiatives in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), supporting client compliance and risk management efforts. Previously, as Director of Cloud Security and Risk Management at a boutique consulting firm, Joe spearheaded initiatives to fortify client resilience against emerging cyber threats. Joe has also held impactful roles such as Vice President of Engineering at a payment systems startup, Principal – Technology Security at AT&T, and Solutions Architect at Zscaler, where he developed secure, scalable architectures and contributed to innovative security solutions.
Joe remains dedicated to advancing industry-leading security practices, providing clients with trusted guidance in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
