Jeff Mullarkey, CEO
Jeff established RKON with Marc Malizia in 1998 to serve the growing need for security specialist in the Internet age. He is responsible for RKON’s development as a thought leader in the technology community and for aligning the direction of the company with our clients’ future direction. Previous to RKON, Jeff served as General Manager to a MicroAge in the Chicago area leading the growth of that organization from 3 million to 25 million in a three-year period. Jeff received his B.S. in Marketing from Illinois State. Jeff is an avid triathlete and claims to have visited all the “cool” national parks in the US.
Marc Malizia, CTO
Marc is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of RKON. He is responsible for driving the vision for products and services across RKON’s practice groups and helping to add strategic services and products to RKON’s portfolio to maintain our competitive edge. Prior to RKON, Marc was the Practice Group Leader for an application development firm, where he established a network engineer consulting practice. He also served as the Director of Engineering for a national systems integrator. Marc has a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a M.S in Telecommunications from DePaul University. Marc is a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan who enjoys finding hidden-gem restaurants in Chicago and aspires to find the perfect recipe for making homemade Italian sausage, soppressata, and gelato.
Diana Hernandez, CFO
Diana manages all of the accounting and finances at RKON. She also oversees the administrative team, comprising Sales Support and Purchasing, driving the day-to-day operations of the business to deliver results to our clients. Diana brings extensive experience from her work in IT since 1991 across many areas, including, sales, sales support, purchasing, engineer coordination, and administration. Outside of work, Diana enjoys fine-tuning her skills at the gym with Zumba and Turbokick classes and in the kitchen by taking classes at the Chopping Block. She has also recently gotten into jewelry making in her free time.
Greg Langosch, Managing Director
Greg has been with RKON since 2005. He is the managing director of RKON Technical Services (RTS), which combines our Managed and Professional Services teams with Technical Support, to offer clients complete lifecycle management of highly complex technical environments under the single umbrella of RTS. Prior to RKON, Greg spent 20 years developing world-class technical operations organizations for Fortune 500 enterprises. He leverages this experience in the “customer-seat” to bring unmatched perspective and experience to our managed services offering. Greg attended the University of Illinois and served in the United States Air Force before entering the world of IT.
Cameron Christo, Practice Director
Cameron Christo is responsible for the services practice at RKON. As Practice Director, he is integrally involved with RKON’s sales staff to align our customers with the right technology solutions. In addition, he works closely with delivery operations to provide world-class solutions in a consistent, proven and repeatable fashion.Cameron has degrees in International Relations, Economics and Japanese. With over 15 years of industry experience, he brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the team and a unique ability to frame solutions for our customer’s business needs. He has architected and delivered Microsoft and Citrix solutions since 1999 and holds their highest certifications. Outside of RKON you will find him swimming, biking or running as he is a competitive triathlete and multiple Ironman finisher.
Jeff Laurinaitis, Sales Director
Since joining RKON in 2004, Jeff has managed sales, strategic accounts, and key vendor relationships. Jeff continues to lead RKON’s business development and sales efforts. Prior to RKON, Jeff spent five years as a sales manager for a Fortune 500 company and spent three years selling Consulting Services for Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) projects to large enterprises on the west coast. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Jeff moved to London, UK, where he began his sales career in the computer industry. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and traveling as much as possible.
