Citrix Consultant
The Citrix Consultant will assist in the implementation and support of highly complex Citrix virtualization projects. Projects will include all aspects of the Citrix product suite, including XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Provisioning Server and Citrix EdgeSight. Will work as part of a team of consultants to deliver these projects with the highest level of technical expertise and customer satisfaction.
Success in this role demands great customer service skills, strong technical knowledge, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of proven and progressive experience with the Citrix product catalog.
- Experience in XenApp/Presentation Server and XenServer. Experience with XenDesktop, Provisioning Server and Citrix Edgesite will be considered a plus.
- Capable of working effectively with minimal direct supervision.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Previous experience in enterprise class organizations is strongly preferred.
Technical Qualifications:
- Active hands on experience with Citrix technologies
- Eexperience with Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Terminal Services, Server OS, etc)
- Exposure to a broad crossâsection of IT technologies and disciplines including networking, Wintel architectures and virtualization
- Knowledge and hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and managing the one or more of the following software technologies: Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server, XenServer, Provisioning Server, EdgeSight, XenDesktop
Education & Certification
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, computer information systems, or computer engineering preferred.
- CCA highly desired
- MCP highly desired
