RKON’s Riverbed Managed Services allow you to leverage the benefits of deploying Riverbed products throughout your organization without the management overhead and training required to do so. Our Riverbed Certified engineers will watch your Riverbed implementation, assure proper performance, and be ready to respond quickly and effectively should an issue arise.

With the RASP designation, you can be assured that we are qualified to manage and support all of your Riverbed needs.

Overview

Expert Advice. Our certified engineers advise on deployment options, optimal configuration settings, and ongoing optimization tuning.

Knowledgeable Support Desk. Have a question? Our experienced support desk is ready to help answer any questions you may have.

Reporting. RKON provides monthly reports to ensure you are optimizing your Riverbed investment. Reports show benefits, trends forming, and areas that may need tuning.

Flexibility. RKON understands that each customer has unique requirements and needs and we meet those needs with flexible reporting, SLAs, and coverage.

Custom Monitoring. RKON goes beyond basic SNMP monitoring by setting alarms on items such as, Steelhead has entered bypass mode, datastore is corrupt, Steelhead cannot handle current connections, and many more special monitoring settings.

Quarterly System Assessments. Our certified engineers gather historical data from your Riverbed deployments on a quarterly basis and generate a detailed report with recommendations on how to improve the performance of your Riverbed network.

RKON assessments will cover:

  • Optimized vs. Pass-through connection rate and overall connection count
  • Health of datastore
  • Asymmetrical routing issues
  • Recommendations for RSP apps
  • Appliance type, location, and software version
  • Types of running applications
  • Configuration backup schedule
  • Logging levels and errors
  • Speed and Duplex settings
  • Reporting on reduction detail for various applications

System Maintenance. Our engineers will upgrade software as required and send you an email when it has been successfully completed. You won’t have to worry about another late evening patching devices.

Change Management. Our engineers will be responsible for any changes to your Riverbed environment, it will be centrally managed and subject to RKON’s Change Control Process including client signoff and RKON review to ensure the integrity of change request.

Hardware Maintenance. Any maintenance is included and provided by Riverbed based on the level of Riverbed maintenance contract you purchased.
