Comprehensive platform support—including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
Full Disk Encryption
Automatically encrypts all information on the hard drive—including user data, the operating system, temporary files and erased files, for maximum data protection. Logical partitions are boot-protected and encrypted sector-by-sector. Attempts to copy individual files or to introduce rogue programs are blocked, even when the hard drive is removed and slaved to a different computer.
Pre-Boot Authentication
Ensures that only authorized users are allowed to access the endpoint. All valid credentials must be provided before the operating system will boot. Multi-factor authentication options, such as certificate-based Smartcards and dynamic tokens, are supported. Multiple pre-boot authentication languages are supported for global deployments.
Single-console, Intuitive User Interface
The Full Disk Encryption Endpoint Software Blade provides an intuitive user interface for centralized management and easy viewing of security status and log files or making basic configuration changes.

CBRC is an ESXi 5.0 server memory cache of common blocks. During peak I/O workloads such as logon boot storms, View desktops can access common blocks of the OS disk and shared applications in the main memory cache, improving performance, enhancing the user experience, and saving storage array costs.
The main benefits of this feature is that no new hardware or software needs to be purchased and as a benefit you can gain up to 80 % of lower IOPs during the boot process of your desktop VMs or during the recompose operations when updating your VMware View base images.

New Single Solution Ensures Performance of All Business Application Types; Combination of Industry-leading WAN Optimization with Fine-Grained Network Control Optimize Video and Voice, SaaS and Unified Communications and Collaboration Across Modern Networks
Inbound QoS becomes a critical performance feature as public cloud services, such as SaaS, compete with recreational traffic such as Facebook and YouTube. Furthermore, UCC applications such as voice over IP (VoIP) and video that generate traffic directly between branch locations require large amounts of bandwidth and are extremely sensitive to latency. As business critical traffic traverses diverse networks and moves in and out of the cloud, data center and branch offices, the ability to set control policies that protect business-critical incoming traffic is paramount.
